Crap Cleaner problem

I've installed CCleaner on my wifes computer 4 times and cannot get it to work right.It runs for a while and comes up with the message that CCleaner has encountered a problem and needs to close.I've used it a lot on a lot of different machines and never had a problem. Any ideas??

Her machine is a:
E machines
1.6ghz
380 megs ram
Win XP Home sp2
IE 7
Charter Security Suite

Uninstall what you have and try this latest version:

Been there done that. Thats the first thing I tried when the new version came out. Thanks anyway.
