I have not tried this but the other posters on another forum said it really speeded up their torrent downloading. Thought I would pass it along. I also copied the psters opening line:

I'm not sure what you people download, and nor do I care. So.... now that we're past that lol.

what is alledgedly does:
What it does is it changes the Tcpip.sys configuration.. allowing you to download from more clients. The limit is normally set to 10, this program changes it to 50... if you find that because of this you are having problems with your internet... just re-run the program and change it back to 10.

i have used Utorrent before and I beleive this is thesame as selecting the option done in the preference /option list. but I do not know about other torrent so that is why I passed it along.

The following settings guide is for BitComet (which is what I use), but most settings should apply to other clients as well.

I believe all this info is only specific to people using XP SP2

Here's a very safe way to change it if you want. I changed mine along time ago and didn't notice one bit of difference
