Snow today

I hate this white stuff anymore and thought that we had lucked out with barely any of it this winter but good old Mother Nature is at it again with blizzard conditions and snow coming down fast and furious with it piling up fast and not sure if I am doing this right or not with a link to photobucket but going to give it a try Sandy

We know what you mean here in NW Pa.We hate this white stuff anymore too.Love your pics.Here is one of the path I had to dig out to get to my pond this morning,my landscaping lights were completely buried.We got over half of this all in one day yesterday.There has been alot of 12 hr.days for PennDOT for the past three weeks.Heard others got twice as much though.Guess it could have been worse.

Nice pix and still hate that white stuff. I just got done shoveling a small path on the one deck so that I can open my back door and as fast as I cleared an area it filled right back up. Only good thing is that so far it is light and not heavy but if it turns to sleet overnight then that will change. Have no idea how I am going to get it cleaned up if my plow truck does not start tomorrow once I wallow through the stuff to get to it. Send some spring fast Sandy :(

We had a pretty mild January here,got all this snow in February and the month is only half over!Our plow truck got stuck in the driveway this morning,got it pulled out and the driveshaft fell out of it and when it did it took the transmission with it,so we will be going shopping for a skidsteer.Going to take a dozer or some sort of heavy equipment to move all this crap,it is really heavy here.Be careful with all that shoveling!About the only good thing is the days seem to be getting longer.

I am not going to do any more shoveling than is necessary and will have to get someone to come and do it if possible but not easy out in the boonies where I live lol. Here is a shot of the snow at one pm and again at five pm and it is still coming down but has slowed down a bit but now the wind is picking up and they are calling for sub zero for the next couple of days. Give me spring anytime Sandy

If anyone is interested if you go back to my original link on here for Photobucket I have added some more pix of that white crap to it. What we need now is some nice warm weather to melt it down. Have some guys coming this afternoon to clean off my roof to relieve the weight on it and also to help so that when it is melting it does not ice up on the edges and back up inside the house and even with it as cold as it is there is ice already starting on the metal roof, Hate winter lol Sandy

My darned dog loves this white stuff and would go and play in it for hours normally but he does not like the bitter cold so only stays out for a bit and the back inside again.
I had a pair of snowshoes and like an idiot loaned them to someone who moved away and took them with him and never a word from the snake and they were not cheap either but not going to get another pair lol.
Now waiting for the guys to come tomorrow and clean off the roof as it is starting to ice up on the edges which means water running inside soon and that is not good. Still would rather look at snow in pictures than out the window and hope that it goes away soon. Then will come the mud and the lake already being high some flooding I would guess but thankfully I am up on a hill away from the water and it it ever gets this high we all better run for it. Sandy
