View Full Version : New Hotmail Address

I am trying to set up a hotmail address for a friend. She is in a not for profit organization and they are needing an email address.
When I go to hotmail, I can't find where to sign up for a new account. I have signed out of my account, and hit "sign up" but it keeps referring to me anyway. I really don't want to have to dump all my cookies, but I guess I will if need be.
On dial up, this going from page to page just to try to get a new addy is taking way too much time I don't have at the moment. (I told her I would get it to her in about 15 minutes, and that was 1/2 hour ago!)
Any certain way to get a new addy? This is very irritating! Thanks. Any info is appreciated.

Here is the URL you need. http://join.msn.com/gbb?lang=en-US www.msn.com is the one that costs. www.hotmail.com is free.

That keeps taking me back to the place I have already been. It keeps putting my address in there, so I hit "remove". Cripes. I didn't think it would be this hard. I can't get it to let me create a whole new account.

I did that too, but It kept taking me to page after page of junk. I don't know what was up with that. Thanks again!
Have you considered setting up a gmail or yahoo email account instead of the hotmail? I have never used hotmail, so I do not know if it has any advantages.

She is the most familiar with hotmail, so we are leaving it as it is. It has a lot of the same things as yahoo, in my opinion. She isn't very computer savvy, so for now, whats easier is better. Thanks though.
