Have I discovered a problem?

I view mainly through Firefox, now and again I use IE, but EITHER way, whenever I go to my Yahoo email account, I need to sign in.

BUT, when I experimented with this recommended site, if I clic on Yahoo in the email section, I'm already in, that suggests to me that if anyone else used my computer, if they used the recommended site, they would have access to my emails. Within that area, anyone could store passwords or tips on what they are.

I will be interested to see if anyone else uncovers this loophole.

It's not a loophole. It's because your Yahoo information is stored on Your computer. Anyone else clicks on Yahoo, would go to Their own account, not yours.

er, an unfortunate choice of words on my part I think. Maybe if I'd said, "if anyone clics on the link on MY computer". Normally I am the sole user, but when family visit and ask to use it, if they chose to use the recommended site and clicked on Yahoo, then THEY would be able to read my emails.

Cool concept thanks for posting it Jimmy. All the icons make it too busy, they should have used text instead of icons, it would be easier on the eyes.

Islandman-

If that is a concern, you can set up a VISITOR or GUEST account, and anytime you let someone else use your computer, sign them into THAT account. Then you can still let FireFox remember your passwords, but they'll only work when YOU'RE signed in. :D

Actually, you said it right the first time. It's my poor reading that is unfortunate. Although it's not a loophole, I missed the part about "my computer" completely.
