Looking to copy a homemade DVD? That's just one of the many tasks you can accomplish with ImgBurn. It's a combination disk-burner and disk-reader that's about a simple a program as you'll find, but will tackle pretty much whatever disk-burning task you throw at it.

Thanks RomeoRob, but with 118 votes against and only 22 for this program, I think I'll pass this one up.

Hello, billm65 ,
Of course this is your own personal choice , BUT I, myself have installed it, and personally find NO PROBLEMS with it.
One can NOT always believe ALL they read, a good example being in today's post, namely ;

in which so many are '' knocking '' FireFox

I have used Imageburn for quite a while now, and it has become my ONLY burning software that gets used anymore. It is very easy to use, does everything I want it to do, handles all types of tasks, and it has never made a coaster.

Rob,

This is indeed a good program. For those unfamiliar with it, and correct me if I am wrong, it is pretty much an updated version of the now dead program DVD Decrypter.

If people out there have Swap Magic and want to back up their own PS2 games, or burn custom Guitar Hero games, it does the trick.

ImgBurn is just a burning program, it doesn't allow you to 'rip' DVD's to your hard drive like DVD Decrypter did (and still does for older DVD's without 'advanced' copy protection).

ImgBurn is actually an updated version of the burning engine of DVD Decrypter.

Scroll to the bottom.

As I'm sure you all know, DVD Decrypter was shut down due to legal reasons. Not wanting to waste all my hard work, I'd like to introduce you to ImgBurn! - (Say hello ImgBurn) - "Hello")

ImgBurn is an enhanced version of the 3.5.4.0 burn engine - and it will continue to get better and better as time goes on.

I hope in time you'll grow to like ImgBurn as much as you did DVD Decrypter.
