I went the opposite of you 3 years ago. I had Weather Watcher and dumped it for Weather Pulse. I had no issues with it, but I thought W.P. was better IMHO. :)
Either way, it's a good safe app.

I liked the desktop applet of WP but everytime I adjusted the color to match my desktop,it would crash....tried everything and finally got rid of it.

I like the options and maps of WW better anyway..:)

That last Weatherpulse update I did, this :( vista wouldn't let me install the new WP. Said I didn't have administration rights, which I do, I'm the only one uses this pc. I had another program can't remember the name off hard, did the same.
I tried everything to change the settings but no go even restarted in safe mode to remove the program and reinstall.
So I been without any weather program, I had to go to www.weather.
I like this new WW.

I am unable to download for some reason. I click download now..nothing happens. Have tried many times. There is a hand instead of an arrow..would this make a difference?. Thanks.. Jere

With the website Harley gave me I was able to download Weather Watcher..I thought.I have an icon on my desktop...nothing happens when clicked. I have
"weather watcher" on my task bar..nothing happens when clicked. Down by the clock is NA..I clicked and a box with about 18 weather terms appeared with NA beside each (I am assuming that NA means not applicable) I went to Singers Creations.com/SNF..and was told to go to tools/ options/ exceptions and enter www.weather .com and then click allow and then close. Did as instructed..still no WW. So I decide I shall remove..go to Add.Remove..Cannot remove because it is running..please close. Yep you guessed it I cannot get it closed. Should I give up the computer and start playing my Ukelele again? I will as always appreciate help...and thanks a million....Jere

Jerew: Try right clicking on the taskbar icon & selecting the change active station menu, when it opens click on add new city & put yours in. Now refresh the program by right clicking the icon & selecting retrieve weather.

Thanks Ace for your response. I followed your instructions..actually had done that last night and no luck. So I found the help and uninstalled. I am sure I just didn't do the download correctly. Thank you again. Jere
