Apparently all the news media, TV and web, were all carrying the story on CUIL at the same time so there was a mad rush by all the viewers to see how it looked and worked......... tied up their servers with the big rush of inquiries... should work more consistently once all the publicity dies down....... :o ..
Afternoon news reports were advising folks to have a little patience......

I did a a search for a person's name earlier , and all I got was articles , like you see in newspapers .
I do not like the results or the format .
As one news link put it people will stay with goggle , as they are use to it .

Here is one thing I found in the privacy statement that I like.....
Logs
We do not keep logs of our users’ search activity.
And this in FAQ
2. I want to use Cuil as my default search engine. How do I change my browser homepage to Cuil?
If you use Firefox, grab the little globe icon beside Cuil’s address in your browser and just drop it onto the house image on your toolbar.
For Internet Explorer, click on the arrow beside the house and then "add or change home page". Select "use this webpage as your only home page" and click Yes.
If you use Safari, edit your “Preferences.”
If you use Firefox, you can add Cuil to your search toolbar by clicking “Add Cuil to Firefox” at the bottom of the search results page.
3. What information do you keep about me?
None. We analyze the Web, not our users. Read our Privacy Policy for details. It’s short.

Results 1 - 35 of 35 for RomeoRob. (0.09 seconds)
When I set it to display 30 results per page I get this.

Seems very fast! For me it's a bit harder to read than Google's list, but I'll keep playing with it. Thanks! :)
