I've had a short cut to WorldStart on my tool bar for some time. But, it only takes me to the Home page. There it is the signup thingie. I'd like to have a short cut to a page where it "remembers me."

How do I make a change like that?

Thanks, WM

Just delete that shortcut.Go to the page you would like to start with and left click on the icon in the address bar and drag it to the quick launch part of your task bar.(I guess that is what you are talking about). Or drag it to your Links toolbar in your browser if that is what you mean
Make sure you are signed in and have put a check mark in "remember me".If you have your browser or some other program set to delete cookies on exit you will always have to sign in though.

Hey, thanks. I thought there was a way from the addy bar. I forgot about the icon and just tried to drag the page "address" down.

That's the answer I needed, WM

Hey Rab......I tried to do the drag and drop that icon as you so suggested and it won't work for me :( . What am I doing wrong? I clicked the icon on the addy bar and dragged it and dropped to the location left of my arow on the quick launch and when I did that it minimized my Firefox to the tray?????? Whaaaa

Rab, I finally found the "Settings" button. Finally=straight out from my nose.

From settings>Add/Remove Buttons>clicked>from the right pop up found the WorldStart shortcut-which was the WorldStart logo>edit>remove
From the left box>make a button, pasted the Off Topic URL in the proper field. It done a search for a W/S logo found none. I have one saved on my puter, but had no op to browse. So had to use a dumb looking a pointy finger thingie.

I like the W/S logo better, but what the heck "the finger" works. pun intended

Thanks for getting me on the right track. May hap this other info will help some others.

Do you have the quick launch bar showing.Right click on the taskbar and make sure quick launch is checked.
If it is showing and you can't drag the icon there I don't know what the problem might be.

I figured out why I couldn't do it...I was trying to drag and drop the icon in Firefox and it won't work in Firefox, but it will in Internet Explorer. Thanks

I think he is referring to AOL's settings....you could add button on their browser.

Rabgary .... I'm using FF3.0.6 - had no problem dragging/dropping a WS short cut icon onto my Quick Start area next to the Start button on Task Bar... :)

OOPS! I left one base uncovered. The settings button is on the Yahoo! Toolbar.

So that should cover it.

Sorry about that. WM
