Some days I spend hours and accomplish nothing. This started with a scan question...decided I must uninstall etc. my printer..but I have (unknown to me) many pictures there and I would like to keep.. so I made a Folder (on desktop) named "HP Photos" So far so good. Now I don't know how to get the pictures from the HP printer site into the new folder. I rt.clicked on a picture and clicked "send to" there were three choices..Desktop/My Documents/or "c drive. I chose desktop thinking it would go to the new folder...needless to say it just landed on the desktop as a additional icon. I know this is photo 101 but I don't think I have ever done this before..so I need to learn. Better late than never. Lordy me I will never know enough to post my camel photo from Tunesia... Thanks to all, Jere

Jerew,
The easiest way is going to be in Explorer. Follow these steps:
1. Right click on your Start button (lower left corner of screen)
2, Click on Explore.
3.In Explorer, locate folder where the pictures you want to move are located.
4. Highlight that folder by clicking on it.
5. Go to top of Explorer and click on Edit, then click on Sect All.
6. Click on Edit again and select Copy.
7. Locate and highlight the folder you want to place the photos in.
8. Click on Edit, then click on Paste.
Your photos should now appear in the destination folder. If they do you can safely delete the folder they were moved from if you wish.
Hope that helps! :)

P.S. Jerew...there are no dumb questions, the only thing that would be dumb is having a question and not seeking an answer! ;)

Another way is to open the HP folder then resize the window to where you can see all your photos in the HP folder and also see the folder on the desktop then click and drag and drop the photos. You can highlight a bunch at a time then drag and drop. After you finish resize the windows to the size you prefer.

Good alternative, Wesran! The only reason I gave the instructions I did was to familiarize Jerew with the whole Explorer process. Thought it would be a good thing for them to know for future use... :)

Unity I was only offering another way of doing it that might be easier for some, I actually use your method most of the time.
