I've never heard of this program before. I installed it and ran it. It showed my pc was 100% so everything is up to date. I assume this isn't something you need to keep running in the background?

Hey K,
I always leave it running in the background because somewhere down the road one of those programs you have may need to be patched & secunia notifys you with a popup.It also helps you find the patch too.It also automatically patches programs if it can,if not,then that's when it notifys you & you can find the patch.

P.S.
Also,if you look in the task manager,secunia doesn't use that much memory.
