misterhy thanks you Harley. You are usually the bearer of good tidings and I guess you just did your usual efficient job and got the info on this out to us. I like AVG and have put a number of friends on it also.

I do hope that version 7 will remain a freebie and maybe we will all know in September.

Actually this may be a good thing if they do discontinue the free version.......

AVG hasn't done well in the latests tests in detection %.....so it may force people to either improve their surfing and email habits or pay for a much better and proven product.......

such as Norton....Nod32.....or Kapersky!:D
