View Full Version : Removing Ubuntu from dual boot

I have Ubuntu on a separate drive and Win XP on another and dual boot using what I think is "grub". What will happen if I remove the drive with Ubuntu? Will Windows still boot?

You'll still have to pick XP if you don't also remove GRUB. I recently had Ubuntu on the same drive as XP and removed it. Removed GRUB after but I think it might be a little risky.
Had to use the XP CD and run the recovery console and run FIXMBR and FIXBOOT to get rid of GRUB. It went fine, but as I say, I think it's risky.
