This is my first time posting a picture, so not sure if this will work. This is from a Camela (sp?) that grows at the corner of our house in Oregon.

Picture was taken with my Olympus C-3000Z on the Macro setting.

Well, that didn't work. Where do I go to get instructions for posting an image?

Did you hit "preview"?

It will lose the attachment every time if you hit preview, just hit submit and it should attach, unless it is too big, then you will get a message stating that it was too large to be attached.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. That is rather strange, they should warn you about that!

Anyway, I will try it once again, here goes.

While I am on a roll, here is another. This is a picture of my Father taken when he was 18, in 1916. I scanned a 4x5 negative with an attachment to my Epson Perfection 1650 scanner, then used MS PictureIt 99 to add the frame.

benewah....wow.......good job! I know those old pics are hard to restore. Here's my Grandma when she was younger....she's passed now but would be 97. I did it when I was first learning PSP, added the color.

Muzz,

You are obviously much more proficient with PSP than I am. I have only had it a short time and am finding it difficult to master. I started out with MS PictureIt99, several years ago, but wanted something with a little more power. Went to Ulead Photo Explorer Pro 7, still not satisfied, bought PhotoShop Elements, but never spent the necessary time to master it either. Tried MS PictureIt2002, but didn't see a whole lot of difference from the 99 version. Now have PSP8 and am just beginning to experiment with it.

I have an Olympus C-3000Z, 3.34mp, digital camera that I am very happy with. In digital camera terms it is getting ancient, but until it quits working, I have no need to up-grade.

Now, tell me how you managed to add color to that B&W picture and was that second picture a sepia tone to begin with or did you add that?

bene...I've learned sooooo much about PSP from online tutorials. Just do a Google search and you'll find tons or I can steer you to some really good ones. Was in a few graphics groups but they generated way too much email.
OK...the first pic...since use several different photo editors on one project and I did that a couple yrs ago, I don't remember which one that I used....it was a B&W photo and I floodfilled the inside edging and added the flowers using tubes. It was made before I learned to make beveled frames. I just counted my Photo Editors and I have 18!! I go back and forth so much with one pic, I have a hard time remembering how I did something...LOL
The second pic was already sepia, all I did with it was frame it and add the text.

Muzz,
Here is one of apple blossoms that I framed a long time ago.

If you could stear me to some good tutorials on PSP8, I would be forever in your debt. :D

By the way, I just received in the mail from Jasc a new CD for PSP8, version 8.1, to correct some things that were missing from 8.01. Nice of them, never had that happen before.
