anybody can show me how to tell a mpg file is mpeg1 or mpeg2?

Doesn't show on right clicking.
When you open a mpg2 it is large.

Is there any other way to differ one to another? I can't see that way usable. Thanks John

My cd writer that makes vcd svcd mpg's video's to play on dvd player, tells if you add wrong one. Sorry don't know of any other way to tell, there are so many kinds of mpg's some are divx a different format, you can get from kazaalite. Sence I got my dvd writer, the software that came with it, you can make any kind of format you want vcd, dvd, mpeg2, mpeg1, plus can't think off hard what the others are called.
