Is there a way to rotate photos on your computer without installing one of those photo suites? Or is there a very simple photo editing program without all the many editing things on it? I only want one that would rotate or maybe also resize.

I was hoping to find a way to rotate my photos without having to install a program, but I will try InfanView if I have to.

I have windows 98. All I do with my pictures on my computer is upload them and then send them off to Wal-mart for prints. After that I delete them. Wal-mart will only take two kinds of extensions. One is jpgs and I can't remember the other one. When I try to rotate the pictures in Paint, it changes the extension. For some reason my camera will let me rotate them but then when I put them on the computer they are still side ways. My camera is getting pretty old so maybe I will be better off getting a new camera. Someone told me there are sites out on line that you can send them to and then edit them and send them back to your computer. I might try to find a site like that. I just thought there might be some simple way of doing it on my computer that I didn't know about.

Irfanview is the way to go. You can rotate the pictures there then save them again on your computer. May I ask how do you upload them and then send them to Wall-mart? you mean through an e-mail right to the store? I take mine there and get one set of prints, and a cd made. This way I don't have to keep them on the computer. the address is http://www.Irfanview.com give it a try. It is free.

I put my digital pictures on my computer in a photos folder and then I go to Wal-mart.com, click on their photo section. I have an account there and I click on upload my photos and just upload the ones that I want prints of. You can check beside the photos telling them what size you want and how many of each photo. The 4X6 are only 26 cents a print and this is the way to go for me. I have them mailed to me because the postage is so cheap, but you can pick them up at the store for free.
Wow, that's a good deal for folks who don't like printing their own. I'll have to pass that on!! TY OOb!

thats a great thing. I'm gonna have to remember that for the future ( when I get a digital :D ) Do you think that could be done with any pictures you might have on your computer? Like these ones that everyone has been fixing for me (putting frames and colorizing them) I could make a folder just for the wallmart photo's? Of course I could ask them as I think I live at that store. LOL. I'd rather use their ink and paper instead of my own. :D

Right click on Desktop, select properites. Click Screensaver tab and scroll down to My Pictures Slideshow. Whatever pictures you have in your My Pictures folder will be shown as a slideshow. My pictures for the Slideshow happen to be in My Kodak folder. Not sure if this is what you mean by "rotate your photos".
