I emailed for help with a faded photo earlier and I sent one that I had tried to fix. I am sending the original untouched photo now to see if anyone can be of help on it. It really is faded more than I had remembered. If anyone can bring it back to a more normal color, I would really appreciate it. The photo was taken in 1952 when my husband was about 16 years old. My husband is second from left and the others are his siblings.
Thanks, Betty:)

The best I could do was to convert to black and white and give it a dab and a half of contrast

These old faded prints are not the best to work with when you only have PhotoImpact as the software. Maybe someone with Adobe can really give this photo it's just results

I really appreciate all the help you gave me with the old photo. I couldn't believe how you were able to put the color in Migander. I had tried with several different programs and couldn't really do much. I have Microsoft Picture-it 2001 also and I have Adobe Photoshop 5. But it is really hard for me to work with Adobe and I even took a course about it. I can do more with the Microsoft Picture-it. I am learning more all the time, but have a long way to go to feel like I have really started to master it. I had made a greyscale copy and printed it off earlier. I think that photo which belongs to my husband's mother had faded even more since I had scanned it earlier.
Thanks again. I really enjoy the Worldstart message board. I read everything even if I don't have questions.
Thanks, Betty
