A friend recieved an email from me, and Yahoo claimed it to contain a Virus. I never sent this email. The following is the exact text...:

ALERT!!!
This e-mail in its original form contained one or more attached files that were infected with a virus or worm, or contained another type of security threat.

The following attachments were infected and have been repaired:
No attachments are in this category.

The following attachments were deleted due to an inability to clean them:
1. Unknown00000345.data/nomoney_jokes.txt.pif: W32.Netsky.C@mm

The Following attachments were not delivered due to inbound mail policy violations:
No attachments are in this category.
*****************************************

We both scanned our PC's for viruses with Norton (w/ the latest updates-3/9/04), and found nothing.


Anybody have any ideass/suggestions???

Your friend received an email from someone spoofing your email address. This email contained a virus that Yahoo removed, so no worries there for your friend.
Just because it has your address doesn't mean you have the virus. Anyone who ended up with your email address, either from it being in their address book or in a forwarded email from multiple people, can have the virus.
They shouldn't blame you.

You can also do an on-line virus scan to give you peace of mind.
