I scanned an 8x10 photo and saved it to mypictures. When I printed it, it was not the full 8x10 size. It printed 7 ½ by 9 size
I used the wizard that came up and I clicked on the 8x10 picture. What did I do wrong?
Thanks daisy

that's a good question.
your printer program probably changed it or the scanner program did.
look at each program and see if there is an option ''do not resize'' or something along those lines. then again your printer may only be able to print that size.

thanks
I will try again and see what happens as I have printed 8x10s before.
I am not very good at these things and thought maybe it was me.

You pose an interesting situation. That being, why print your own when the technology is such that copies can now be made that are of much better quality and at much more reasonable prices at say Wal*Mart, online services or good old Kodak.
Or is it just the novelty of printing a copy of a photo, which in turn is nothing more than a copy in it's own right.
Pragmatism. The reasons for some of the things we don't do.

It is not right or wrong, black or white but idle thoughts that keep us occupied.
It should have been prefaced with a smiley face, I suppose :o
