Been having so much fun with my camera. I uploaded them to my computer, but I had it resize them before they loaded. Now the other day, I brought up a picture and tried to print it out. I checked the 4x6 size and even turned it sideways so it would fit on the photo paper. Well, only half of the picture was there and it was all blurry. Should I have left the pics alone and load on the computer and then resized them as I wanted with irfanview? I've probably ruined all my pictures by changing their size. Well, I guess I will learn. :(

Upload mpic's to computer as big as your camera will allow, then the pictures you want to resize make another folder and copy the original and paste in the new forder that way if you mess up you can delete the one you are playing with and still have the original then just make another copy and play some more.Never mess with the original cause once you mess up it is messed up.

ditto, larry.
denine , your printer probably has a setting to ''scale to print''.
in other words you can tell the printer to 'scale' the file you are printing to the size of the print you are printing. i don't know the aspect ratio of your cam tho, 3x2 would give you a 6x4 print but if it's 4x3 i dont know what the actual print size would be except 3''x4''.

Thanks Guys. I was afraid I'd have all those pictures and now their resized and I can't do anything about that. I will change the settings to leave them the way they are when I upload them. I also had checked to delete them from the camera because the card only held 20 pics. I got a larger one and can hole 84 pics now, so I will be leaving them on the camera until I want to make some prints. I'll have to play with the sizing thing for the pictures to print.

denine,
you don't need to leave them on the cam. just put them on your hdd at the best resolution you have. no sense using up the space on your card.

Hi Denine
Your printer software should have settings in it for different size pictures.

Hi Denine
Your printer software should have settings in it for different size pictures.
Absolutely correct. You should be able to print any size paper you printer will use without actually changing the physical size/measurement of the original photo.
