Hi Geo,

I see you are using Google Maps.

For a really exciting experience, you should try 'Google Earth' from this link
http://earth.google.com/earth.html

You can zoom around the globe using place names or even zip codes!

This happened over the weekend too.
The demand has been so great that their servers can't cope!

The software is still in beta, so perhaps just keep trying?

Thanks. So there is no need to even try, as I am on Dialup. Was just wondering what it would show about My House.

This is where I work. :D

I hope they eventually remap my city to zoom in more though, would be cool to actually be able to make out the buildings and stuff.

Bruce,

If you post your zip code, I will see what Google Earth comes up with and then post the picture here.

Brian.

Bruce,

Here is a shot of Springfield NJ..........with your zip code I could zoom in on your house!

You can get the same pictures from Google Maps http://maps.google.co.uk/ with dial-up.
Just type Springfield, NJ into the Search window.

You miss out on the 'flying' effect and some other goodies.
