.bmp to .jpg

Can I convert a group of pix from bmp to jpg. I used "save as" to download a kodak photo album file and they are bmp's and I would like to convert to jpg to save space and edit in Picassa. I have "MS Paint."

Was able to do it with XP "windows and fax viewer"
