Cool..there are about a dozen apps in here that should be kept somewhere.........especially Windrivers backup!:)

No ,this one you install but it's one of the best programs to back your drivers up and then burn them to a cd for safe keeping!

Another must have app is vsoDIVXTODVD...converts any movie to dvd format!

You folks may already know about this link. Sometimes it nice (or even needed) to have an older version of software. A lot are available free at http://www.oldversion.com/

May be worth your while to take a gander there. Have a good one.

It appears that the Windriversbackup program is installed, correct? When do you get the error? When you try to back up your drivers?

Maybe it's one of your drivers that has a corrupt compressed folder?

No, but I haven't installed it yet. I tested it with IZarc and it says it's fine.

Thats the message I get when I click on the download link on that page , I cant get as far as installing it!

Maybe try redownloading it? I've seen a download or two become corrupted in transit.

This time it downloaded OK but when I tried to install it, the same message came up about the zip file being corrupted!!!

Hmm, I'll try to find an alternate download site for the same program when I can. I'm in the middle of something right now, but will try later.

I used Elwoods link to d/l WinDriver Backup and installed it with no problem! can't figure out why you're having so much trouble!

Thanks guys, here is my fav that I stumbled upon and like a lot. There is a utility to repair corrupt zip files but no program preview page or snapshot and it didn't get the best rating for some reason.

BB...I downloaded this from same site as you and then uploaded it to my web space and then downloaded from there and installed without a hitch. Here is my link. Let us know.

In all of them Harleys' quote button is in the exact same spot as anyone else.

BB, Bruce; I forgot, I don't view Avatars & Signatures. That's likely the reason mine is exactly the same for all posters. Sorry for the misunderstanding of your posts. George. :o
