:) For starters, what to click in options to not lose a page when I open another one?

Thanks

Your tabs right?
In options uncheck the box that says hide tabs when one tab is open!

Now that you can see the tab bar, just right click on it for a new tab or just use your wheel button on your mouse to open links in new tabs, then do the same to close them!

The middle wheel click is especially good for sites like google, you can click on links all down a page, each one opens a new tab and still have your original google page handy. I like this for when I forget and close a page, saves having to dig it out of the 'trash'.

I forgot to come back in and say Thank you for this. Thank you :) :) I've been using FF last night and this morning with no problems. I haven't added any extensions yet, just getting the hang of things. I used a smilie in another site just now that has a bunch of dancing bananas in it. They were dancing WAY faster than they do in IE! UGH! Had to get rid of it! :) I must add that it didn't help a certain hockey team last night!
