W32.Kittykat is a virus that splits itself into many parts, and adds these parts to all RAR archive files in the current directory and the parent directory. (http://secunia.com/virus_information/28958/kittykat/)

Hi Harley,
Have a question about RAR Files, PLEASE. I am interested about installing the following program, ICESWORD. The best rootkit defender program. Now the problem is that, it involves a RAR Files as the download. How safe are these files, as you mentioned in the post to be very carefully with this type of file? This ICESWORD has become a very popular program in detecting Rootkits and basically all the information is in Chinese.
Any comments or suggestions, PLEASE?
Thank you for your time and have a great day!

A RAR is just another compression format and should open with any free app!
This one will:

Just scan as per normal!

Hi Harley,
Thank you very much for the feedback on IceSword. I think I will forget about the program. How about yourself, would you use it?
Thanks again and have a great evening!
