nice shot Bruce...I am just getting some of those growing in my garden...snap dragons I think they are. They have migrated from the neighbours yard and I just let them go. Very pretty.

Wow Hostas ... lotsa snail food, mine look like lace curtains where the snails have been. :eek: :D

Mine are all eaten up too. I don't see snails, but these brown bugs with pinchers on the back. (and they do pinch). what can Ido to get rid of them?

sounds like you have earwigs...they like anything damp and hide from sunlight. you can get stuff to get rid of them but I think the only way you can do it permanent is by cutting down your bushes. There may be some natural ways to get rid of them try googling it...they are nasty looking arn't they...yuck.
