A co-worker of my husband ventured to Northern Ontario...my neck of the woods or bush as we call it and captured these wonderful photos.

I can't see any thumbnails........just a blank message!

Why is that?

I have cleared my temporary internet files and I can see pics and thumbnails in other messages but not this one.....strange?

Me neither, nothing shows in Firefox or OE ... strange indeed one or the other usually works. ;)

Not sure why some can't see the pics...I posted them again.
Hey Crockett how did you make out in the storm?

I can see the thumbnails OK now!

Don't know what the glitch was.

Great pics but why do you use supload?

Takes ages to open the full size pics and then they are surrounded by ads!

Much better to use Photobucket.

I was barbequing on my balcony when it happened and it almost tipped over my open barbeque and blew the utensils off the side rack. No trees fell on me though. It was wicked!
How come your moniker says Southern Ontario, but you live in the North.....where about?
Much better to use Photobucket.
Not really, Brian....PB may be better than Supload, but usually one experiences a bandwidth problem if viewed often then the pics don't show.
I don't know why one doesn't use ImageShack.....free, fast, no limits and thumbnails

Northern Ontario is where I'm originally from...I migrated to Southern Ontario about 8 years ago. Born in Kirkland Lake went to New Liskeard for a while then started my journey South with North Bay and then headed further South. You're lucky you didn't get the storm there too bad where my sister lives in Callander they deemed it an emergency zone.

What camera did they use? Is that retouched, edited? Alot of zoom or were they able to get that close to the fox.

I have cyotes that get that close. Usually looking for a chicken or a cat for breakfast though.
Fortunately never any of my cats.

These are the stats I got from pic info. I did touch up some of them myself to make them a bit clearer but not much. I didn't talk to the guy who took them so this is all the info I got.

well I'm in Souther ontario now...used to live in Kirkland Lake and New Liskeard...still have parents in Larder Lake. How did you guys make out in the storm in Thunder Bay? We didn't see a drop of rain here in the sunny south.

The storm was pretty bad from what I seen on the news. Where I live (Timmins) it was super dark, and tons of ligntning, but like hardly any wind. Kind of odd actually. It was so dark it was as if it was 10-11pm, the street lights were actually turning on. In our test lab we had a server that rebooted, so the power was not very stable for a bit but we never lost power at least not at the office or home. That reminds me, I need to test to see if my ups software works properly.

My cousin lives in Timmins...you're very lucky to escape it too. Hope all your software is working properly...they said another storm was heading your way.

Yeah another one is coming, heard a bit of thunder, and had a big downpour earlyer today, but nothing big so far. Theres a seviere thunderstorm warning with possible large hail and risk of tornado, but they always say that. :P I'm staying home for the night so if the power goes out I'll be able to test the UPS software in a real life situation. If the server's shut themselves down it means it works. :D
