I have just downloaded and installed DrDivX from http://www.divx.com/ which is a compression system for movies.
I encoded a 200MB mpeg slideshow which I had created using 'MemoriesOnTV'.
The movie is now only 47MB and still looks great and sounds great!

I am looking forward to being able to email friends these compressed movies instead of huge downloads which would give some of my dial-up friends a coronary!......LOL

The only drawback I can see is that you either have to install the DivX player to be able to view the movies or install a codec from the DivX website which SHOULD allow you to view on Windows Media Player.

Anybody else have experience of DivX?

I used Click Here (SUPER © is a totally FREE Multimedia software solution) to make my mpeg smaller any player will play them and very easy to use.
Don't email them use upload link
Upload your mpeg, to up to 300MB)
You don't have to add email addresses it gives a link when uploaded, so they can download from there.

Something dodgy about that site John.
I get a warning message about the 'click here' site being not what it seems and if I continue, it comes up with a 'page not found' window.
