Beautiful flowers!
Just a tad dark, tho. A shutter speed around 1/80 would have worked fine, or using the flash at the higher speeds. (I prefer natural, ambient light, too.)
Or you could have fun editing, (adjusting levels, like Roy mentioned), or fill flash with some high pass sharpening like this one.
I hope you don't mind us messin' wif your stuff!
Unless I'm trying something intentional, I leave my white balance on auto.

Thanks Roborro and Dave for the info. I am just learning how to use my camera on manual mode so I appreciate anything that will help me. I have PSP 10 so I guess I better learn how to use it. LOL Dave I don't mind if you or anyone else want to mess with my pic, after all that is how I can learn from you and all the others on this forum. So go ahead and mess with them, you might even be able to teach this old man something. ( You have your work cut out for you). ha ha
What I was trying to do with those pic was get something called depth of field, I will keep trying. :)

josk, if this is what you were trying to do then you will ahve to set the cam to your highest f-stop, ie:f8..
these were all shot at f3.5 which has a very slim DOF.. with the P&Ss you are rather limited because most of them don't give you much of an aperture range. i never have figured that out tho..
in PSP10 there is a setting for a one click photo enhance that does great. ck it out..

Roboto, thank for the info now I have a better idea of how to do what I was trying to do. I checked that enhance things out in PSP 10 and it is ok. I would still like to be able to take better photo with out much editing. I checked my camera and F8 is the highest that I can go, I will try that on something before long just to practice with it.
Thank for all your help I appreciate it. :)
