Uninstalling Opera

Hello Folks

My friend tried Opera 10 Beta and decided that she did not like it, and uninstalled it using Add/Remove. I ask her if she also removed removed the Opera installation folder, and she says she did.

Anyway, I am at her house now and just did a search to see what Opera files she still has on her puter. There are a lot of Opera files already in her recycle bin. The files that I am not sure about removing are the Microsoft Net Framework ones & the prefetch one.....see attachment...

Thanks for any help..

She has XP, SP3

I always uninstalled through add/remove until Revo came along. If it were me I'd reinstall Opera Beta so you have everything in one place, that said get the Revo out to uninstall it. It cleans out any remaining traces that linger in your registry any folders and etc. etc. etc.

Understand Penny that's if it were me..

I have XP Pro SP 2

Thanks for your reply Lee.....

I won't be able to talk to my friend until she gets home from work, but will suggest Revo to her then. Not sure why I didn't think of Revo myself......a good idea!!

Thanks again....I'll post back!!
