what type of CD is this?
Cam anyone tell me what type cd this is? It is labeled "DVD+R" and then RW in a small box on the label, see attached.

Thanks Terc6, I found that ehow topic in a search but because my cd didnt have the forward slash between R & RW I wasnt sure the info pertained to me.

It is a DVD not a CD, a big difference, 2 different disks.
It is a DVD+R RW (rewritable), meaning you can record DVD a 120 min. of music or 120 min. movie, and then erase them and record another movie. You can also record DATA and remove it and rewrite more data. Also they have a capacity of 4.7GB of data, as to a CD RW which only has a capacity of 700MB. So a Data DVD can hold a little over 6.7 times as much data as a data CD.
