Any one use DropBox and is it worth using
My daughter uses it and she likes it
Thinking about trying it ...

I would not be without it !
Guess you wanted a Linux user answer but if it works as well as it does on windows you can't go wrong.
I find it especially useful for moving/copying between machines.

Whar Everton said.... I use the free version to have photos on iPhone auto backup to Dropbox so no pictures ever lost, even if phone gets incapacitated, lost or stolen (many a crook gets IDed from taking selfies on a stolen phone which auto posts their pic to Dropbox). Just one of several cloud storage apps used on iPhone, iPad, or Windows machines. Great way to save and share pics or docs and to always have them readily available to you via your smart phone, etc., whenever you might need at a moments notice.

Certainly worth your giving the app a try, price certainly right...

Those without can be given a link to view the file or a folder, but to collaborate and be able to edit they would need the app I believe.. here's several ways explaining how to share ...

I have no qualms storing pics or docs there, they have a great reputation... https://www.dropbox.com/security

That's good. I've done the same. Actually just finished backing up about a thousand pictures to One Drive during the night...
