Don't know what to tell you?

I've installed it on 10 machines already and no problems!

Might want to ask at their forum for any similar problems!

I did a clean install of 2.0.0.5 and not only did I lose the use of my addons I can't use roboform or Google toolbar, plus the new version wiped out my old version which I couldn't find a copy of so I had to download version 2.0.0.3 but I still couldn't use my addons.
I deleted all my fire fox files but the bookmarks then I clean installed 2.0.0.5 again and it let me download the addons 1 at a time, but as soon as I closed FF it stopped working, so now none of my extensions work or anything I have had to go back to IE which is so slow. And I love FF when it is set up with all my extensions with roboform and google.

Can't understand how some are having problems!

It sounds like you installed over the old and thats why you can't find it!

Now you need to uninstall everything and clean the registry and all the files in Docs and settings[profiles]...run Crap cleaner, reboot and reinstall it!

And then reinstall Extensions and themes one by one? Not a great solution, is it?

Don't get me wrong, it's still better than going back to IE, but it's far from perfect.

In a perverse sort of way I'm glad I'm not the only one it has happened to.

That is the only way they would take, if I did them all at once they would disappear , like now the 2 that that didn't disappear says that they are not compatible with 2.0.05 but it said that on 2.0.0.3 also.
I did a clean install already and it didn't make a difference.I also removed the
localstore.rdf file which was suggested on the mozilla forum and still no fix, oh well.

The fix:-

Look in your Profile Folder http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_fo...ws_2000_and_XP and Delete these three files
extensions.ini
extensions.cache
extensions.rdf
Make sure Firefox is not running when deleting these files. Firefox will regenerate these files on restart.

Thanks to steviex at Mozilla Forums.

Not even that, really. Here's some more from the answer I got there:-

... My extensions have gone or are unusable....
The update has confused the extension manager.... This procedure will reset it, so Firefox rescans your collection of addons, to see what is really there.

Thanks for the follow up guys, I did a complete clean uninstall and a complete clean install , in this process I deleted all FF files including the ones you mentioned. Now I have my extensions installed and everything seems to be working right. Thanks again gentleman.

Now close FF and create an extra profile with all the files from your working profile and just use 1 of them!

This way you'll always have an uncorrupt profile!
