Linux commands ?

I have been thinking about replacing O/S with Linux Mint on an older laptop with XP. Dell Inspiron 1200

However, ever since I read something about needing to learn Linux -Commands, I am not sure that I will install Linux. I was thinking about Linux Mint Cinnamon and have it already on order from OSDisc.com It is on a USB Flash Drive.

Your advice please.

Thanks.

With the new Linux Os's being made user friendly and work right out of the box so to speak it would install just like any other OS. If you run into a problem it is not hard to get to know the command line windows has the same thing but people rarely use it in everyday computing. If you have an issues you cannot resolve there is a vast community out there to help.
