How many are using IE sp1?

I'm not sure where to post this question. I wanted to know how many of you still use IE sp1 in spite of the security issues?
Those of you still using it, have you had any problems with the security issues? Thanks, Karen

I'm still using it and will continue using it for at least a few more months.
No issues ,but then again I'm pretty protected with my setup with or without patches.

On this Computer I am using IE5.5 SP2.

I have always used IE ever since the first PC that I had that was Windows based and have never had an issue with it. I do watch where I go and what I do when I get there. They ALL have security issues with them. Those that say different are just lying to themselves. IE is more widely used then any other browser and there or targeted more. Same with OE.
No security issues with them at all.

me to mr bill ive used ie sp1 since i installed xp
and havent hd any poblems most times the problems are caused by the user
if you are having troubles post them in some one may be able to help.

I use IE with SP1 and will continue to do so until I am sure that SP2 is stable enough to make the change. I have made sure I have plenty of security on this PC. Last time I did a port test, they were all in stealth mode. I have Sygate as a firewall and I use Avast as my Virus protection, I use SpyBot S&D, And Ad-Aware, and a2free as my spy ware and trojan-worm finders. I keep them up dated and so far am running clean.

Bill, I also am holding off on installing SP2. Have made numerous queries here and on other sites as to the advisability of downloading now or better to wait until later when they have all the bugs worked out. Have yet to receive a definitive answer so I am holding off. I have a cable connection and ordered the free CD-may just wait and use that when it arrives. In the meantime I get daily notices to downloiad it.
